An EP titled "Abyssus Diabolorum" was recorded in late 2006 and released in May of 2007 as a limited-edition printing through Eradication Process, an underground label based in the UK. Composing new material, creating artwork for Morbid Angel, and gaining heavy airplay on radioshows such as the Australian Solarfall Radio, Evolgrinder's World Destroyers, and UK's Ragnarok Radio throughout the spring, summer, and fall of 2007, VadimVon had seized its existence as a one-man metal entity.
The production of the band's debut full-length began at the end of 2007 at V's PrimalSound Studio. In the spring of 2008 V was selected as one of the top-three worldwide finalists to join Morbid Angel as second guitarist, a spot which went to another high-profile European shredder. V is also Morbid Angel's graphic artist and merchandise designer. "RiseKhaosInfernal" was released in the fall of 2008 as a ravenous, blistering, frightening, uncompromising slab of dark khaotic energy, reaching inhuman speeds of 320bpm, awaiting to deliver a crushing blow to the eyes and ears of the worldwide extreme metal community.
By the spring of 2009 the underground metal scene demanded VadimVon and the band delivered with a series of performances spanning most of the United States, headlining exclusive metal events such as WNYU Chuck Schuldiner Memorial in NYC, the infamous NYDM Long Island DeathFest, HeshFest in Milwaukee, Wave Of Mutilation Fest in Chicago, shows throughout the MidWest and EastCoast US, and exclusive metal events in Texas such as The RiseKhaosInfernal Fest in San Antonio hosted by Beyond The Dark Horizon Magazine, among others. For such a relatively young act, VadimVon was co-headlining events with international acts such as Jungle Rot, Destroyer666, Hecate, and more.
In late fall of 2009 the band retrieved back into the southern swamps to begin work on new material and handle a number of personal matters. Following a winter of silence, VadimVon announced an EastCoast tour for May/June of 2010. The band is scheduled to headline the mighty Milwaukee Blackened Fest 2010 in October as well as to perform at the ultra-brutal Goregrowler's Ball IV in Texas, which is a true honor and a testament to VadimVon gaining a definitive place in the American extreme metal scene. Be sure to catch VadimVon with Morbid Angel once the metal giants are touring the US in support of their upcoming album.
The new studio album is currently in the works and is scheduled for a January 2011 release through the Swedish label Downfall Records - stay tuned for details.
